A baby in the neonatal unit at Manipal University in Manipal, India is being monitored by an infrared camera as part of a Xerox remote healthcare sensing research project pilot. Using video cameras and data analytics patients vitals can be monitored without wires while minimizing discomfort and risk of infection.
